Author/ESL Curriculum Specialist (TESL/TEFL/Communicative Language Teaching)
Director/Owner - The Talkshop - a civil service-accredited communication training center specializing in program designs that are geared to help individuals develop their personality and advance their career opportunities.
I took Bachelor of Arts in Literature at the University of Sto. Tomas, then Masters in Entrepreneurship at the Asian Institute of Management as I set up the Talkshop in 2000. To further enrich my teaching style, I enrolled in a Teacher Certification Program at the Seneca College in Toronto, Canada and finished the advanced level of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). At the moment, I am working on my PhD.
My book, The Quintessence of Creative Writing, got published in 2006. Throug the years, I have helped young talents stretch their skills in writing and speech presentation thus paving the way for some of them to compete and usually place first in national level writing competitions.
Currently, I am in the faculty of the Development Bank of the Philippines’ program for Management Associates (MAP) for whom I conduct Business Writing and Speech Eloquence. I have also trained the bank’s lawyers and top executives in Speech and Presentation Techniques.
My workshop series on Speaking Strategies, Creative Writing, Technical Communication, Presentation Mastery, Telephone and Selling Techniques, Creative Thought Formation, and Image Enhancement are regularly for individuals and various industries (i.e. Banks, Call Centers, IT, Sales, Media)
Since 2002, I have been working hand-in-hand with the Department of Education designing and running English programs, promoting Communicative Language Teaching (speaking and writing techniques) among the country’s English educators and non teaching personnel.

In 2008, after running and evaluating almost 20 batches of National English Training, I was tasked to design the comprehensive Language Competency Benchmark for the personnel of the Department of Education.
I am a firm believer in the unlimited potential inherent in any person who has the desire to invest time and effort in both formal and self-education. My commitment to myself and to my clients are the quality programs that guarantee enhanced personal mastery and deepened expertise.
